Colorado Thrives is happy to share that as part of our partnership with the Elevate Quantum consortium, the US Department of Commerce designated Colorado as a Regional Technology Hub for Quantum Information Technology (QIT) to promote regional innovation, job creation, and technological advancement to boost American competitiveness. Particular thanks to @Dan Caruso and @ZOMALab for their leadership and commitment to the project.
As quantum technology matures, it will offer a variety of employment opportunities across different educational backgrounds for Coloradoans with a large economic impact. We now enter Phase 2 NOFO (Notice of Funding Opportunity) with approximately 5-10 of the Designated Tech Hubs to receive implementation funding. There is still plenty of exciting work to be done!
